When I ordered this fuel pump I expected an Airtex pump. What I received was a rebuilt no name brand fuel pump. I felt very miss led. If I wanted a rebuilt pump I would have ordered it. I was very disappointed. They did take it back and credited my account in a fairly timely matter.

This fuel pump was supposed to be an airtex, but airtex is made in the USA and the one I received was made in china. I had already waited for the pump so I needed to install it, I couldn't be without the car anymore. First off the the filter sock on the assembly was broken, had to replace that. Two days after installation it started leaking out of one of the fuel lines that was parts of that new assembly I just bought. It was pouring out, barely got the car home. What a pain, it was a crimp clamp that you need a special tool to tighten. Overall not very happy with the pump. I just hope it doesn't have anymore problems.

Had this pump in for 2 weeks now (about 600 miles on it) and it has performed great. Only reason that I give 4 stars is that the clips it provides for the fuel lines are a bit tough to get on, but once you figure them out and have the right tool it goes good. Make sure to get your return line pushed on all the way and not right on the edge with the clamp. been there, done that. But, the fuel pump in itself is great and is almost 100 dollars cheaper than local part houses so real good value especially with free shipping.
