This Timken Hub is manufactured to a much higher level than a typical OEM hub assembly. Well worth the extra 20-30 bucks from standard Hub. Easy install, took that noise/vibration totally out of the front tires. Much smoother ride now! Improved my MPG from an avg of 24.2 overall to 24.9-25.1. I have an 08' Pontiac G6 GT 3.5L.

When these work, they appear to be the normal, professional grade bearings one comes to expect from Timken. I've used Timken for all of my needs when replacing bearing/hub assemblies on previous vehicles. This was the first time that I purchased thru Amazon though for such a product - which shouldn't have any reason to do with my failures.The first pair were delivered and installed carefully. Immediately, and every time, the car would fail the ABS/TC self check and throw all of those lights on the dash. The codes in the unit were for both Left Front and Right Front bad speed sensors. This was not a problem before changing them out. Amazon was extremely helpful to assist and sent me 2 more overnight. It was double the work because I had to re-do the job again, but these are at least working fine. The good ones seem completely fine.In summary, I will still buy Timken unless I run into another situation like this and then I will move on to a new brand. I would still recommend these and them to my friends, only with the cautionary note of above. The bearings are now working just fine and appeared in all cases to be well constructed.

As usual - buying the best yeilds the best results. Have used the cheaper bearings and get tired of replacing twice. Timken is a one time fix - fit perfect and do the best
