At less than 1/3 the price of the dealer unit (just about the only place you can find one), it's a relative bargain. Also, it comes pre-filled with oil, which is an added plus. Like I said, I ended up not using it and returning it, but not due to the product. Turns out my current one was not bad, but the 12v plug had come loose. One thing to keep in mind: the 2006 Scion that this fits does not have a conventional compressor pulley design, where the center freewheels until the magnetic clutch is engaged. In this case the entire pulley rotates with the compressor all the time. There is apparently an interior secondary magnetic mechanism that is not visible or accessible. I haven't seen that on any other car.
