I bought my used 2008 Nissan Armada LE 4x4 this summer and had some shimmy in the steering wheel. The truck came with new tires (dealer even re-balanced them at my request) so that wasn't the source of the problem. Also, the brakes squealed loudly when I back up. Very annoying.So, having been a fan of the slotted & drilled rotors w/ ceramic pads on my last truck, I decided to buy this kit.The shimmy is gone, as is the squealing during backing up. They also look pretty good on the truck.Nice side effects include much better wet braking and less brake dust on the rims.My only complaint is with the packaging. These things come in TWO HEAVY boxes (front rotors w/ pads in one, rear rotors w/ pads in other). But to make shipping cheaper, they TAPE the two boxes together. Now it is one SUPER HEAVY box that gets abused badly by the shipping carrier. One box holds the rear rotors inside a smaller box (double boxing - good!)... the other box has the front rotors (not inside another box - bad!) which partially broke open. One of the front rotors got a small ding in it (tough stuff - so hard to ding) -- but not badly enough to warrant replacement or worry about.

Have had these on about a month, stopping power is nice. I sanded/powder coated the hubs black so they wouldn't rust. Anyway the look good and work fine as well.

So, I struggled whether to ding this product based on how it arrived, but the fact is it's not the product nor vendor's fault that Amazon shipped it so poorly.First, on the product: It's great, works as advertised, and looks good. The brakes are quiet, effective and are smooth. Just ensure you follow the breakin instructions on Power Stop's website, this is key to preventing rotor "rough spots" and have smooth breaking.Now, onto the packaging. Wow. Just. Wow. And that's a good "wow." That's a very, very bad wow.To clarify, I ordered 3 sets of power stop brakes. 2 sets I ordered from another site because amazon didn't have them in stock, and the 3rd set I ordered here (this one) for my 2008 Infiniti QX56. I won't mention the other sites name, because I don't want people to think this review is a shill or a plug, but you can google search these kits for other vendors.So the other vendor sent the brakes in two separate boxes and they arrived as expected, without issue.Amazon on the other hand, decided to tape the rear and front kit boxes together. I cannot describe how mangled the boxes looked when they arrived, so I'll post pictures so you can judge for yourself (look at the product pics.)Now, rotors and brake pads are designed to stop multi ton vehicles, so the risk of this poor shipping method is low, but it still doesn't put my mind at ease to see the box that holds the pads which stops by vehicle with family inside is CRUSHED. In addition, luckily this vehicle doesn't have brake sensors, but the other two cars do, and they are also packed in these kits. Those sensors are very sensitive, and I wouldn't be surprised if this shipping method causes damage to those sensors.Anyhow, great product, great brakes, really, really bad shipping on Amazon's part.
